OSU medical center seeks orthopedic surgeon: 3 notes

Columbus-based The Ohio State University posted a position opening for a general orthopedic surgeon at the university’s Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, according to MidScope Jobs.

Here are three things to know:

1. The 900-bed medical center is the university’s flagship patient care facility.

2. U.S. News & World Report ranked OSU’s Wexner Medical Center No. 33 on its list of top 50 orthopedic programs in the country for 2018-19.

3. Minimum qualifications for the position include medical degree or doctor of osteopathic medicine degree, successful completion of an orthopedic surgery residency, board certification or board certification eligibility and an Ohio medical license.
