HSS created its own private entrance to the building, which is designated specifically for medical use. The Durst Organization granted Hospital for Special Surgery permission to operate in the building.
“HSS [is] trying to get closer to where people live [and] work to make it convenient,” Thomas Bow, executive vice president and head of commercial leasing at Durst, told Commercial Observer. “It’s all about concierge service — making it easier for people to utilize the service.”
