In September, Mazor announced its acquisition by Medtronic for $1.64 billion.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mazor Robotics attributed its third quarter revenue decrease to a lower number of systems sold during the quarter as well as lower pricing terms under the company’s distribution agreement with Medtronic.
2. Additionally, Mazor’s international revenue decreased from $1.8 million in last year’s third quarter to $1.3 million in the third quarter.
3. Mazor will hold a shareholders general meeting Nov. 19 to vote on its merger agreement with Medtronic.
4. The acquisition is expected to close during Medtronic’s third fiscal quarter ending Jan. 25, 2019.
