Klaus Radermacher Joins ConforMIS Scientific Advisory Board

Klaus Radermacher, chair of Medical Engineering at the Helmholtz-Institute for Biomedical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, has joined the ConforMIS Scientific Advisory Board, according to a company news release.

In this position, Mr. Radermacher will participate in the next stage of innovation for ConforMIS patient specific implants and instrumentation. Mr. Radermacher performed groundbreaking work in the design of individual templates for use in orthopedic surgery nearly 20 years ago.

He has also made many contributions to image-guided surgery, surgical navigation and medical robotics. He has been an invited lecturer at many national and international meetings including the Computer Assisted Orthopedic Surgery conference for the last two decades.
