1. Dr. Kotcharian is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and specializes in interventional spine, interventional sports medicine and pain management.
2. He most recently served as the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department’s assistant fellowship director.
3. Dr. Kotcharian has expertise in diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures, including steroid injections, nerve blocks and radiofrequency denervation.
4. Dr. Kotcharian practices Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. He has a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. He also enjoys chess, reading, meditation, exercise and painting.
5. Dr. Kotcharian is fluent in Russian and Spanish, among other languages.
