Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Marco Ferrone of Brigham and Women’s Hospital 

Marco Ferrone, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Ferrone is an instructor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is also affiliated with Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Ferrone’s clinical interests include herniated disc management, orthopedic oncology and spine surgery.  

He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Ferrone underwent orthopedic spine surgery fellowship training at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and musculoskeletal oncology training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
