The BoneBac Press, a reusable device, enables surgeons to more effectively utilize local autograft bone for fusion and reconstructive procedures. Designed by Mick Perez-Cruet, MD, the new device “significantly reduces or eliminates the need for additional bone extenders, reduces costs significantly and improves fusion rates” because it utilizes the autograft. The device also promotes efficiency and lowers the risk of some adverse outcomes.
The BoneBac Press can be used by orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, reconstructive plastic surgeons, ENT’s, oral surgeons and for any operation where bone can be reused in the patient for reconstructive or fusion purposes.
