Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Joseph Zavatsky of Florida Spine & Joint Institute

Joseph Zavatsky, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Tampa-based Florida Spine and Joint Institute.

Previously, Dr. Zavatsky served as director of the Spine, Scoliosis and Deformity Institute at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.

 

He is a member of the International Spine Study Group, Florida Orthopaedic Society, Scoliosis Research Society and Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.

 

After earning his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Zavatsky completed his residency at Orlando-based Florida Hospital. He underwent fellowship training at Hospital for Joint Diseases

in New York City.
