Here are three things to know:

1. The titanium implant system is an expansion of OrthoPediatrics’ current physeal tethering profile that includes O-Plates and I-Plates as well as solid and cannulated low-profile screws.

2. OrthoPediatrics’ PediPlates system does not disrupt bone or plate growth. It features plate and screw constructs that span the growth center and restrain the physis by inhibiting growth where the plates and screws are applied.

3. PediPlates features stainless steel plates and screws designed to provide strength, resistance to breakage and ease or removal.
