Here are six notes:
1. The CP-ESP and LP-ESP prostheses are indented to replace damaged discs in the cervical or lumbar spine.
2. The disc prostheses are designed to mirror a natural disc’s function and movement.
3. The ESP discs are composed of two titanium end plates and polycarbonate urethane elastomeric cushions.
4. The discs’ end plates have hydroxyapatite coating for bone ingrowth promotion.
5. The CP-ESP prosthesis provides 7 degrees of flexion/extension, 5 degrees of lateral flexion, and 4.5 degrees of axial rotation. It is intended to treat symptomatic cervical discopathy.
6. The LP-ESP prosthesis is intended to treat lumbar disc disease. It provides 6 degrees of flexion/extension, lateral flexion and axial rotation.
