Here are five notes:

1. Glenn Buttermann, MD, of Stillwater, Minn.-based Midwest Spine & Brain Institute, is using the SENTRY ALIF. He noted: “With limited visibility in an anterior approach, the tactile and audible confirmation of final locking that SENTRY ALIF offers is pivotal.”

2. Life Spine introduced the SENTRY ALIF last week.

3. The plating system features multiple radii as well as an anchoring option for L5-S1.

4. SENTRY ALIF includes a CAM locking mechanism, which is designed to streamline the procedure and decrease the operating time.

5. Life Spine will showcase its anterior lumbar solutions, micro-invasive technologies and more at the 2017 North American Spine Society annual meeting in Orlando, Oct. 25 to Oct. 28.
