Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Pinto specializes in thoracic and lumbar spine surgery, minimally invasive techniques and deformities.
Dr. Pinto is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Minnesota Orthopaedic Society, North American Spine Society, Mayo Alumni Association and Vanderbilt
Orthopedic Association.
After earning his medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Lisbon in Portugal, Dr. Pinto completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Pinto is also
fellowship trained from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
