1. The publication honored Dr. Bruns in the Healthcare Hero Physician category for his expertise in orthopedics and providing access to care for underserved patients.

 

2. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Bruns  has special interests in total joint replacement, trauma and sports medicine.

 

3. Dr. Bruns has sat on the board of directors for OrthoArizona for more than 20 years.

 

4. For the past 10 years, Phoenix Magazine designated Dr. Bruns a Top Doc.

 

5. After earning his medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Dr. Bruns completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
