Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Padraic Obma of Orthopedic & Sports Institute

Padraic Obma, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic and Sports Institute of the Fox Valley in Appleton, Wis.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Obma has special interests in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle.

 

Dr. Obma is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. In addition, he has filed multiple patents based on medical innovations including the development of a new shoulder operation to repair torn rotator cuff tendons.

 

After earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Dr. Obma completed his residency at Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Obma underwent fellowship training at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.
