Exos acquires D1 Sports Medicine — 4 insights

Phoenix-based Exos will acquire Franklin, Tenn.-based D1 Sports Medicine, an athletic training company which partners with orthopedic surgeons.

Here’s what you should know:

 

1. The D1 facilities will be rebranded as Exos Physical Therapy locations.

 

2. Exos offers “integrated performance therapy solutions,” by partnering with local healthcare systems. Exos offers services to athletes, military personnel and corporate employees.

 

3. Exos CEO Dan Burns said in a release, “Through this acquisition, Exos is able to expand its reach and serve as a valuable resource for proactive health and performance in the community.”

 

4. After the acquisition is completed, Exos will have more than 70 clinical locations nationwide.
