Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Elizabeth Ouellette of Mount Sinai Medical Center

Elizabeth Ouellette, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon, subspecializing in hand surgery, at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla.

Previously, Dr. Ouellette served as chief of hand surgery at the University of Miami and director of the hand surgery fellowship program at the Jackson (Fla.) Health System.

 

Dr. Ouellette’s research interests include wrist instability biomechanics, injured nerves, skin coverage and psychological intervention.

 

After earning her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Dr. Ouellette completed her residency at the Seattle-based University of Washington. Dr. Ouellette is also fellowship trained from the University of Miami.
