Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Christopher Beauchamp of Mayo Clinic

Christopher Beauchamp, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Phoenix-based Mayo Clinic. He specializes in arthroplasty and bone reconstruction surgery.

Dr. Beauchamp’s interests include musculoskeletal oncology, adult reconstructive orthopedics, bone and soft tissue sarcomas and infect or failed joint arthroplasty.

 

In 2002, Dr. Beauchamp received the Mayo Clinic’s Distinguished Clinician of the Year award. He currently serves on the board of directors for Advanced in Mineral Metabolism.

 

After earning his medical degree from the Vancouver, Canada-based University of British Columbia, Dr. Beauchamp completed his residency at the Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. Dr. Beauchamp is also fellowship trained from the University of Florida in Gainesville and Rochester-based Mayo Clinic.
