Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Laurel Blakemore of UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute

Laurel Blakemore, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Florida Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute in Gainesville.

A member of the American Orthopaedic Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Blakemore has clinical interests in cerebral palsy, clubfoot, scoliosis and spinal deformities.

 

After earning her medical degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Dr. Blakemore completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at the Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Blakemore is also fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedics from Case Western Reserve University in

Cleveland.
