Here are four points:

1. The hospital is the first in Long Beach and North Orange County to offer the technology intended for use with Stryker’s Mako System.

2. Mako Total Knee leverages Stryker’s robotic technology with its GetAroundKnee system.

3. The technology is intended to subdue pain from joint degeneration. Surgeons utilize the system for a 3-D modeling of bone anatomy, which creates a personalized surgical plan.

4. Surgeons may also use the Mako Total Knee to virtually alter the surgical plan intraoperatively.
