Dr. Weiss has served as the senior spine surgeon at Laser Spine Institute and head of the surgical team at the practice’s Scottsdale, Ariz., location. In his new role, Dr. Weiss will continue to perform surgery and oversee surgeon and fellowship training for new surgeons and surgical practices. He will also serve as an ambassador for advancement of the practice.
James St. Louis, MD, founder and chairman of surgery at Laser Spine Institute, will transition into a new role as chairman of surgery emeritus. In this role, Dr. St. Louis will continue to perform surgery as well as take on new business and research responsibilities.
