Dr. Marc Philippon performs 2nd arthroscopic hip surgery on Denver Broncos’ Matt Paradis — 4 details

Marc J. Philippon, MD, has performed his second hip surgery in the past five weeks on Broncos center, Matt Paradis, according to the Times-Call.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Dr. Philippon performed an arthroscopic surgery on Mr. Paradis’ right hip five weeks ago. The second surgery was on Mr. Paradis’ left hip.

 

2. The successful surgeries both took place at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.

 

3. Mr. Paradis is expected to recover normally and be ready for the start of the regular season in September.

 

4. Hip pain has plagued Mr. Paradis since his collegiate football career but he played every offensive snap the past two seasons.
