1. The governing body drafted a new version of the game, which resembles flag football.
2. Under the new vision, the number of players is cut from 11 to between six and nine.
3. The new game will no longer include punts or kickoffs, and play will take place on a smaller field.
4. Say goodbye to the three-point stance staring position, as well. Athletes will now start play in the crouching position.
5. USA Football is responding to rising parental concerns about the safety of children tackling each other, and thus, participating has decreased. Since 2009, participation in tackle football for boys aged six to 12 has dipped 20 percent.
