Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. David Freccero of Boston Medical Center

Before joining Boston Medical Center, David Freccero, MD, practiced at Torrington, Conn.-based Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, where he played an integral part in launching the hospital’s joint replacement program. He has surgical expertise in director anterior total hip replacement, HipXpert mechanical navigation system for hip replacement, total joint replacement, revision joint reconstruction and hip arthroscopy.

Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Freccero has a subspecialty certificate in orthopedic sports medicine.

 

He earned his medical degree from Detroit-based Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Freccero completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Honolulu-based Tripler Army Medical Center. He finished his Otto E. Aufranc Adult Reconstruction Surgery Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
