She practices at two Blue Ridge Bone & Joint offices — in Asheville, N.C., and Arden, N.C. — and holds hospital privileges at Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health System. Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Allen’s research interests encompass fracture care and tendon injury treatment. She is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Allen earned her medical degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University and an orthopedic foot and ankle reconstruction fellowship at Baltimore-based MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.
