He practices at five hospitals and medical centers in the Pennsylvania area. During Operation Desert Storm in 1991, Dr. Lutz was deployed to Saudi Arabia with the marines and served as the battalion surgeon for the first marine division at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California. He holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association and Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. Lutz earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He went on to complete residency training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and a traumatology fellowship at Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical Center R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma.
