Dr. Patrick Do named to Newman University’s board of trustees: 5 things to know

The Wichita, Kan.-based Newman University recently added five members to its board of trustees, including orthopedic surgeon Patrick Do, MD, according to Wellington Daily News.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Do:

 

1. He founded Mid-America Orthopedics, a practice with five locations throughout Kansas, where he has practiced since 2000.

 

2. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

3. He sits on the executive board of Young Presidents’ Organization, a network of young chief executives.

 

4. He is a member of the El Dorado, Kan.-based Butler Community College’s Butler Foundation board.

 

5. He earned his medical degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he also completed an orthopedic residency.
