Emory and Stanford Universities awarded grants from Interventional Orthopedics Foundation: 3 thoughts

The Interventional Orthopedics Foundation recently announced that Emory University Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, in Atlanta, and the Stanford University PM&R Sports Medicine Fellowship program, in Redwood City, Calif., were each recipients of $75,000 grants to facilitate the placement of clinical fellows.

Here’s what you should know.

 

1. Both universities have to use the money to bring fellows to the school for the 2016-17 academic year.

 

2. Executive Director for IOF Nancy Ho said the programs “demonstrate a comprehensive curriculum that fits well with the IOF’s mission to expand the reach of regenerative interventional orthopedics.”

 

3. The organization awards these grants as a part of its mission statement.
