A former employee of Vancouver, Wash.-based Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery has filed a lawsuit against the practice alleging wage abuse, according to a July 30 report from The Columbian.
The lawsuit, filed July 16, seeks class-action status and claims that the practice failed to provide required rest and meal breaks for hourly employees, pay minimum and overtime wages, accrue paid sick leave for qualifying absences, pay all wages owed upon termination and maintain accurate payroll records.
The lawsuit is seeking economic and punitive damages for class members as well as legal fees.
Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery did not immediately respond to Becker’s request for comment.
