1. Dr. Slawski is coming to the clinic after attending the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
2. Dr. Slawski earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. After a residency, the air force recruited Dr. Slawski to create a sports medicine program.
3. After serving in the air force, Dr. Slawski he debated pursuing a career in academics but decided against it because of a desire to create and grow his own practice. He instead opened and operated a clinic in central Nebraska for 20 years. He grew the program from a staff of one to eight, and was highly involved in the high school athletic scene.
4. Dr. Slawski decided to retire from his practice last year, and return home to Missouri. He was then recruited to Fulton, and it was an opportunity he said he couldn’t pass.
