The Center for Integrated Wellness in Bloomington, IL is set to open: 5 key notes

The Center for Integrated Wellness is set to open Sept. 6 – after a soft members-only opening, Aug. 15 – in Bloomington, Ill., according to The Pantagraph.

Here are five key notes about the center:

 

1. The center aims for a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, including a fitness center, sports performance institute, community education area and orthopedic center.

 

2. It cost $35 million and encompasses about 106,000 square feet.

 

3. The project's partners include Advocate BroMenn, McLean County Orthopedics, Method Sports Performance and Signet Enterprises.

 

4. McLean County Orthopedics – which is moving its headquarters to the center – includes physician offices, exam rooms and an open MRI machine.

 

5. Orthopedic surgeon and Method co-founder Joe Norris, MD, told The Pantagraph that the sports performance institute will include cardio, weight training and physician oversight for athletes.
