Dr. Michael Suk selected to Baldrige Executive Fellows Program: 5 notes

Michael Suk, MD, was selected to the Baldrige Executive Fellows Program, an executive leadership fellowship that provides one-on-one access to leaders of Baldrige Award recipient organizations.

1. Dr. Suk is the system-wide chairman of the orthopedic surgery department at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa.

 

2. He focuses on unstable pelvic fractures, acetabular fractures to the hip socket, complex periarticular fractures near joints, nonunion fractures and osteomyelitis and trauma injuries.

 

3. He completed a fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

 

4. The Baldrige Executive Fellows will use the Baldrige Excellence Framework, a leadership and performance management framework, as their foundation as they study how organizations and their senior leaders achieve strategic and operational excellence and stimulate innovation.

 

5. Baldrige Executive Fellows’s new cohort will tour the sites of a number of Baldrige Award recipient organizations.
