Orthopedic surgeons to know: Drs. Arthur and Alan Valadie of Coastal Orthopedics

Arthur Valadie, MD, and his twin brother Alan Valadie, MD, are orthopedic surgeons at Coastal Orthopedics in Bradenton, Fla.

Dr. Alan Valadie specializes in hip and knee replacement, and Dr. Arthur Valadie specializes in sports medicine, especially shoulders. Dr. Alan has worked at Coastal Orthopedics for 19 years and Dr. Arthur has worked there for 18 years.

 

Both Dr. Alan and Dr. Arthur attended medical school of the University of Florida. Dr. Arthur then completed his residency at Emory University and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Alan completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Carolinas Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
