Stryker Expected to Contract With Brooke Army Medical Center

The Southern Region Contracting Office intends to award Stryker a sole-source contract for preventative maintenance support on Stryker-manufactured beds at Brooke Army Medical Center in Houston, Texas, according to a report from Federal Business Opportunities.

Under agency requirements, only one source is responsible for supplies and services. Stryker will not sell the OEM parts, materials, processes or proprietary tools to third parties, according to the report.

The contract is expected to be made on Nov. 22 for one year plus four 12-month options.
