Ritesh Shah, MD, has published his first book “Pocket Orthopaedic Surgery,” according to a Chicago Tribune report.

1. Dr. Shah is an orthopedic care provider at the Chicago-based Illinois Bone & Joint Institute.

 

2. Dr. Shah modeled his book after “Pocket Medicine,” a handbook for internal medicine.

 

3. “Pocket Orthopaedic Surgery” was published by Wolters Kluwer Health, and co-edited by Jay Boughanem, MD.

 

4. Dr. Shah focuses on hip and knee reconstruction at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute.

 

5. He has completed a joint preservation, resurfacing and reconstruction at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis.
