Orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Donald Mackenzie named Distinguished Doctor: 5 notes

An orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. Mackenzie is interested in recombinant cell repair for spinal cord injury and regeneration of the intratubal disc. He performs minimally invasive spine surgery, and is currently working on developing an implant for spine surgery.

 

Dr. Mackenzie is a member of AO Spine, Texas Medical Association and Collin County Medical Society.

 

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Dr. Mackenzie received fellowships from The Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, The American College of Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.
