Here are the five candidates:
1. Dustin Larson, MD, was selected for the hand fellowship. Dr. Larson earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University Medical School in Portland where he also completed his residency.
2. David Peterson, MD, was also chosen for the hand fellowship at UNM. Dr. Peterson attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio.
3. Brandee Black, MD, was selected for the sports medicine fellowship. Dr. Black attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing and Saginaw, Mich. She went on to complete her residency at the University of Missouri Health System Residency Program in Columbia.
4. Ray Jensen, DO, was chosen for the sports medicine fellowship. Dr. Jensen attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his residency at Des Peres Hospital Residency Program in St. Louis.
5. Seth Criner, MD, was selected for the trauma fellowship. Dr. Criner earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences Medical School in Pomona, Calif. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Residency Program in Corvallis, Ore.
