UMass Lowell expands medical device development; opens innovation hub: 3 quick facts

University of Massachusetts at Lowell is expanding its incubator program for medical technologies and opening a new innovation hub.

Here are three facts:

 

1. The new UMass Lowell Innovation Hub and expanded Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center offer research and development space as well as assistance for entrepreneurs and startups in the medical device and technology sectors.

 

2. Together, the centers occupy a total of 22,000 square feet.

 

3. The Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center is a joint effort of UMass’ Lowell and Worcester campuses.
