Here are four observations:
1. The department of orthopedics and traumatology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong is the first hospital in China to install the EOS system.
2. The EOS system provides full-body stereoradiographic images of patients in functional positions, in both 2D and 3D.
3. The system requires lower radiation doses than digital radiology and basic CT scans. Additionally, the new EOS Micro Dose option, cleared by the FDA, further lowers radiation doses for pediatric imaging.
4. The company also recently gained the CE mark for kneeEOS, a 3D planning software for total knee arthroplasty.
