McGinley Orthopaedic Innovations has acquired DS Manufacturing, according to a Casper Journal report.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. DS Manufacturing is now a fully owned subsidiary of MOI.

 

2. Currently, DS Manufacturing makes several components of MOI’s IntelliSense Drill.

 

3. MOI is increasing efforts to manufacture and release its recently FDA-cleared IntelliSense Drill.

 

4. According to Joseph McGinley, MD, PhD, founder and CEO of MOI, this acquisition will make manufacturing the drill faster and more cost effective.

 

5. DS Manufacturing will be renamed McGinley Manufacturing & Machining.
