“The THUNDERBOLT Minimally Invasive Pedicle Screw (MISS) system was designed to be easy to use and to decrease the amount of equipment needed in an MISS spinal fusion surgery. This makes the job of placing MISS pedicle screws as efficient and safe as possible,” said Dr. Knetsche. “THUNDERBOLT was designed with several types of equipment to dilate or ease the passage of the system’s screws and rods through soft tissue to lessen the trauma to the soft tissues. We think the surgeons, the operating team, and, most of all, the patients will appreciate the efforts to make this system safe, efficient and easy on everyone.”
