Regional Medical Center, MUSC enter into affiliation for expanded services, including spine

Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S.C., and Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston have entered into an affiliation, which will include an expansion of RMC’s services in numerous specialties including orthopedics, according to a report by The Times and Democrat.

The affiliation will allow RMC to offer new services, such as spinal surgery and breast surgery, as well as telestroke or telemedicine services. The affiliation was announced in January, according to the report.
