Robot performs neurosurgery procedures in China

A robot that can perform neurosurgery is performing procedures in Beijing, China, according to a KGNS report.

The robot, developed in China, can insert a needle into the brain to extract a small piece of tissue for examination. While surgeons have performed this procedure by hand in the past, the robot performs it with greater accuracy, according to the report.
