Anna Jaques Hospital names retired orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Mindess honorary staff member

Retired orthopedic surgeon Richard Mindess, MD, has been named the first ever honorary member of the medical staff at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass., according to a Daily News report.

Dr. Mindess practiced with Seacoast Orthopedic Associates in Newburyport and Anna Jaques Hospital from 1983 to 2007 and was former chief of surgery at the hospital. He was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia and no longer practices, according to the report.
