LifeScience Alley honors Zimmer’s Virage OCT Spinal Fusion System

LifeScience Alley named Zimmer Spine’s Virage OCT Spinal Fusion System to the 2014 New Technology Showcase.

LifeScience Alley names 10 companies to the showcase, hosted in a partnership with Mayo Clinic. Zimmer’s Virage system is used for spinal fusion procedures of the occipitocervical spine, cervical spine and thoracic spine.

 

The system was launched in June and features the 360 degrees Omnidirectional Extreme-Angle Screw for 112 degrees of conical range motion. The system is designed to simplify rod alignment and minimize operating time.
