OrthAlign Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement With Biomet Japan for KneeAlign

 
 
OrthAlign announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Biomet Japan for its total knee arthroplasty technology — KneeAlign.

On Dec. 24, 2013, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare approved the use of KneeAlign for total knee arthroplasty surgeries in Japan. KneeAlign provides both tibial and distal femoral navigation in a palm-sized, single-use device, and it is compatible with all implant systems.
