Genstar Capital acquired orthopedic implant manufacturer Tecomet from Charlesbank Capital Partners.

 

Bacterin has signed a distribution agreement with OsTex Orthopaedics to distribute Bacterin’s biologic products in Canada.

 

Mazor Robotics signed a distribution agreement with Transmedic Pte for the Renaissance system in Southeast Asia.

 

Smith & Nephew acquired Politec Saude, an advanced wound management company in Brazil.

 

Amedica signed a manufacturing agreement with Kyocera Industrial Ceramics to manufacture medical devices from Amedica’s Silicon Nitride biomaterial.

 

Titan Spine signed a distribution agreement with Biomet to distribute the Titan Spine Endoskeleton interbody fusion device in Germany, which could be expanded to include additional European countries.
