Dr. Joseph Maroon to Perform Spinal Fusion on Green Bay Packer Jermichael Finley

Neurosurgeon Joseph Maroon, MD, FACS, will perform a spinal fusion on the Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, according to a Sporting News NFL report.

Dr. Maroon will perform the procedure to repair an injury the player incurred three weeks ago.

 

 

Dr. Maroon is a clinical professor and vice chairman of the department of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also serves as a team neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
