K2M Spinal Deformity Device Implanted in First French Hospital Procedure

Leesburg, Va.-based K2M has entered the spinal device market in France when the first surgeon used its MESA Deformity Spinal System at a hospital in Lyon, France.

Christophe Garin, MD, performed the procedure with the MESA, a top-loading, low-profile spinal system with K2M’s Zero-Torque Technology.

K2M representatives announced the milestone at the Scoliosis Research Society’s 48th Annual Conference in Lyon.
