Smith & Nephew to Acquire Orthopedic Assets of Its Turkey-Based Distributor

Smith & Nephew will acquire certain assets of Plato Group, the distributor of Smith & Nephew’s orthopedic reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine products in Turkey.

All Plato employees, including management and sales members, will join Smith & Nephew. The acquisition will close in the second half of 2013.
