Wright Medical Group Sells Hip, Knee Implant Business

Wright Medical Group announced it will sell its hip and knee implant business, OrthoRecon, according to a Daily News report.

Shanghai-based MicroPort Scientific will purchase the business for $290 million in cash, according to the report. Wright Medical said OrthoRecon’s 2012 revenue was $269 million.

 

Wright Medical will focus its efforts on foot and ankle business.
